Alternatively, if the Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1 Update is installed after the Windows Phone SDK Update for Windows Phone 7.8 is installed, the Windows Phone 7.8 emulator will be removed from the list of available emulators displayed in Visual Studio 2012.</p><p><span class="label">User impact:</span> The Windows Phone 7.8 emulator will not be listed as an available emulator in Visual Studio 2012.</p><p><span class="label">Workaround:</span> If you need to repair the Windows Phone SDK 7.1 or the Windows Phone SDK 7.1.1 Update, do the following:</p><ol><li><p>Open command prompt.</p></li><li><p>Run the following command:</p><p><span class="code">rd /s /q %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Phone Tools\CoreCon\10.0</span></p></li></ol></li></ul></div><a name="BKMK_Tiles" /><h3 class="subHeading">Tiles</h3><div class="subsection"><ul><li><p>When using flip or cycle Tiles, the Tile count is displayed in a square shape, rather than circle.</p><p><span class="label">User impact:</span> Users will see the Tile count in a square shape, rather than a circle. Developers may have created the Tile UI assuming a Tile circle shape, and hence deliver a different experience.
